Two Powerball tickets worth $50,000 sold in Arizona

PHOENIX — The Powerball jackpot worth over $700 million, is officially off the table, however two tickets sold in Arizona are worth $50,000.

According to the Arizona Lottery Office, two tickets from Wednesday's drawing (January 20) matched four numbers plus the Powerball.

The numbers were: 40-53-60-68-69 and a Powerball 22.

The winning tickets were sold at:

  • Circle K at 3033 S McQueen Rd in Chandler
  • Circle K at 751 N Arizona Ave in Gilbert

Contact the Arizona Lottery's Office if you have a winning ticket.

Last night's Powerball jackpot was thefifth-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever. It had earlier been estimated at $730 million, but it grew even further based on final ticket sales.

The winning ticket was sold in Allegany County, located in northwestern Maryland, but additional details weren't immediately available.
