Four arrested in $3.9 million meth bust near Kingman

KINGMAN, AZ — Busted! Four people have been arrested in connection to a multi-million-dollar drug bust near Kingman.

Detectives with the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement (MAGNET) made the bust Thursday while conducting a traffic stop on Interstate 40 near milepost 57.

During the traffic stop a Department of Public Safety K9 was called in to do a search of the vehicle.

After a positive K9 alert, the vehicle was searched by agents who found numerous bundles of methamphetamine hidden inside.

According to MAGNET, the finding included 89 pounds of meth and is estimated to have a street value of $3.9 million.

The four suspects arrested have been identified as, 22-year-old German Alvarado, 24-year-old Marlon Torres, 28-year-old Abril Arreguin and 30-year-old Moises Moralez-Marquez.

Charges include transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, and more.
