New information has come to light on the state trooper involved in the shooting death of Dion Johnson.

According to an internal affairs report, Arizona Department of Public Safety Trooper George Cervantes used his department-issued TASER on a household pet.

Cervantes was reprimanded after using the TASER on a family dog at least three times on two separate occasions between June 2011 and June 2012.
