You want to expand your home, but the thought of a construction project makes your cringe. The time, the money, the headaches — we get it!

And, so does Phoenix entrepreneur, Charles Sidi. He's created a revolutionary way to build a backyard room in less than a month.

Sidi took us on a tour of his new concept.

"I've set this up as an office because that's what I wanted to use it for," he said.

A home office, a guest house, a pool house, an art studio, even a man cave! Whatever your vision, Sidi says he can build it, in just three weeks!

"With today's world and the instant gratification, I think people want things quickly," he said.

He started YARDHAUS to disrupt the current, fragmented building process. If you use his method, there's no need to wait for an architect, contractor or even deal with the three-month city zoning process. That's because the City of Phoenix already pre-approved the YARDHAUS design plans.

"The reason why I developed this concept is to take away all of the pain points you normally go through when you go to embark on a building project," Sidi explained.

The building starts at 400-square-feet.

"We actually put the physical building up in two days," he said.

It includes heating and cooling and is made to match your house.

"So, if you have a stucco home, you can have a stucco finish. The paint color would be matched and, obviously, you can choose the finishes inside," he said.

If you have some building experience, Sidi said you could probably build this yourself. Otherwise, YARDHAUS supplies the kit and recommends licensed, bonded and insured contractors who know how to build this building.

The price tag, start to finish: $79,950. It's a flat fee. But, if you want to include a bathroom or kitchenette, you can add $10,000-$15,000 to the total.

Sidi says, "The reaction I get is not only does the space work very well, but it's the quality of the finish."

YARDHAUS is a brand new concept that's starting in Phoenix. Sidi said he's already creating more styles, based on the size of your backyard.
