Governor Doug Ducey met with Donald Trump in New York on Tuesday.
A source told ABC15, Ducey traveled from the Western Governors' Association annual meeting in Jackson Hole Wyoming to New York City.
Ducey's office said Arizona's governor shared his goal "to keep Arizona in the Republican column" when it comes to all local and national elections.
Ducey's spokesperson said the governor wants to keep Arizona voting red, as it's been "20 years since a Democrat (named Clinton) won Arizona."
