A new poll appears to show that Gov. Doug Ducey isn't too popular among Arizonans.

A Rocky Mountain Poll published Wednesday from the Phoenix-based Behavior Research Center shows that 32 percent of people think Ducey is doing a fair job, 21 percent describe his performance as "poor/very poor" and 24 percent are unsure.

Only 23 percent of people surveyed describe the first-term governor as doing an "excellent/good" job.

The statewide poll surveyed 700 heads of households between April 4 and April 11, which included 564 registered voters. The poll has an overall margin of error around plus or minus 4 percent.

Of those surveyed, 41 percent also said Arizona is "seriously off track," 37 percent said the state is going in the "right direction" and 22 percent were either not sure or said it's a little of both.

Ducey was elected governor in November 2014.
