Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders continued his spiel on the economy at a rally in Flagstaff Monday night.
He said Americans work long hours.
"Turns out, that as Americans, we work the longest hours of any people in the industrialized world," Sanders said.
PolitiFact truth-checked this claim when Sanders said the same thing at a rally in Virginia last month.
According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, a group of 34 democratic nations that keeps data on the topic, Americans do not punch in the most hours on their timecards.
Countries such as Greece, Iceland and Portugal work longer hours. But, Americans do work more than countries such as Canada, Italy and France.
Depending on what group of industrialized countries you decide to look at, the United States is somewhere in the pack, but they're not number one.
PolitiFact rated this claim as Mostly False.
