A vehicle tied to two murders in Washington has been located in Phoenix.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, detectives located a red 2007 Volkswagen EOS Coupe near 35th and Dunlap avenues in Phoenix this week.

Sheriff officials believe John Blaine Reed, 53, and his brother Tony Clyde Reed, 49, killed Patrick Shunn and his wife Monique Patenaude.

The Reed brothers were driving the red vehicle but are now driving a gold 2002 Acura 32T with Arizona license plate BNN-9968.

Officials believe the pair, who are armed and dangerous, was near Calexico, California on Monday. It's not known exactly where the pair is at the moment but officials believe they may be trying to flee to Mexico.

Phoenix police and US Marshals are working with Washington sheriff officials to locate the brothers, who are both convicted felons.

The bodies of Shunn and Patenaude have yet to be located and officials continue to search for them. The pair was first reported missing one week ago.
