Arizona's House of Representatives has passed a measure barring so-called "revenge porn."
The bill passed 58-0 on Wednesday with one legislator not voting.
Rep. J.D. Mesnard of Chandler sponsored House Bill 2001. He says he expects it sail through the Legislature and hopes it is the first passed this session.
The proposal makes it a crime to intentionally share nude photos of another person with the intent to harm that person.
One Republican and one Democrat expressed concerns the bill is skirting normal processes, but voted for the measure regardless.
The American Civil Liberties Union sued over a 2014 version of the bill, but took a neutral stance after the measure was revised.
Both chambers approved the bill last session. However it didn't receive final approval.
