Teachers often spend money out of their own wallets for necessities in the classroom. Treasures 4 Teachers is a non-profit organization that receives donated items from several businesses and sells them to teachers for a bargain price.

For example, you can get a reusable bag for $5.00 and fill it up with all supplies needed. About 50 reader books can fit in that bag. They have a smaller bag for $1.00, and they have a free section.

There is also a specialty shop where teachers can get fancy paper, craft items, paint and teacher supplies ranging from $0.50 to a couple of dollars.

They sell traditional supplies and nontraditional, out-of-the-box items, too.

Anyone who works with kids or is an educator, preschool teacher, classroom teacher, church leader, even Girl or Boy Scout leaders, can shop at Treasures 4 Teachers with a $35 annual membership per person.

So, how can you help? Make a donation or make a smart purchase. You could buy a membership for your teacher, so they can have access to everything they need to help your kids.
