Have a clogged shower head? Here is a simple solution that will cost you pennies without using harsh chemicals.
If you can’t easily remove your shower head, you will need a plastic bag to put over your mounted shower head and a rubber band to secure it. You will also need white vinegar.
If you can easily remove your shower head, take it down and put it in a bowl with enough white vinegar so that it is completely covered. Let it soak overnight and then take a brush and scrape off any remaining mineral deposits, and rinse. Then, reinstall the shower head and run water through it for a minute to make sure it is unclogged.
If you can’t easily twist off your shower head, then grab a plastic bag or plastic shower cap, fill it with vinegar and cover your shower head. Secure the bag with a rubber band so the bottom of the shower head is soaked in the vinegar.
And then do the same routine: leave the shower head soaking in the vinegar overnight. Uncover, scrape off any leftover mineral deposits then run water through the shower head to make sure it is unclogged.
