Get rid of the clutter around your house the right way.
Saturday, April 16 is Zero Waste Day in Tempe and that means free stuff for you!
From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can shred as much as you want. Just drop off your documents at the Tempe Fire Training Facility. You can also take any paint you’re not using and they will recycle it… along with other household hazardous waste including batteries, cleaners and light bulbs.
And while you’re there, you can get free recycled paint and compost. You’ll need to bring your own bags and buckets for the compost and there is a limit of four containers per vehicle.
This event is only for Tempe and Guadalupe residents.
