So, I have four ways to trick yourself into keeping your cash.
First, automate a portion of your paycheck to go directly to your savings.
And when you pay your bills, pay yourself, meaning your savings account.
If you have cash back rewards credit cards, don't redeem the rewards, transfer them to your savings account.
If you still find yourself borrowing from the savings account, make it harder.
Open a savings account at another institution, that isn't convenient.
