It's good for trips up to seven days away, but you get the best bargains for same day hotel deals that you book after noon.

Hotel tonight has a rate of $99 per night at the Residence Inn.
The cheapest price I found online was $156.
I then searched hotels for tomorrow in San Diego.
The Paradise Point Resort will cost $153 if you book through hotel tonight.
The best price I found online is $225... A huge discount.
But don't assume that the app will always have the best price; you have to do your own research.
I found a $49 rate at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for Thursday.
Hotel tonight is advertising the same price.
Also keep in mind, if you find a lower rate elsewhere, Hotel Tonight will credit you the difference.
