Do you know anything about a dog that was dragged by a vehicle in Surprise back on December 1?

According to police, a dog was found with a rope tied around his neck near Grand Avenue and Dysart Road. The animal was covered in dirt, asphalt and blood. The animal also had open wounds to his legs, body and head.

Police believe the animal was dragged, at a high rate of speed, by a car. The animal was ultimately euthanized because of his severe injuries, but so far no arrests have been made.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is offering a $5,000 reward in hopes that information will be given to police that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for injuring the dog.
