A Silver Alert has been canceled after a 79-year-old man was found safe.
Goodyear police say Ruben H. Salcedo was last seen around 5:15 p.m. Thursday at his home near Dysart and Thomas roads.
Police say Salcedo learned he was going to an assisted living home, got angry and left.
A Silver Alert was issued to help locate him, but Goodyear Police said Friday morning that he was found safe.
