The Goodyear Police Department is investigating after an alleged threat at Millennium High School was made.
Police say the threat does not appear to be credible, however extra officers will be on campus on Friday.
ABC15 learned that a letter was sent out to parents of students who attend Millennium High School which read in part:
"There is escalating social media chat regarding a school threat tomorrow. The reported information is second and third hand information. These allegations were investigated today and found to be unsubstantiated. The Goodyear Police are aware of the situation."
On Friday, police said the threat was not credible and started after a student made a vague comment in passing down the hallway.
