A woman is injured after a shooting in Glendale.

At about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to the area of 59th Avenue and Cactus Road for a shooting call.

During an initial investigation, detectives learned two vehicles were involved in a road rage incident.

One of the drivers reportedly followed the other to 59th Avenue and Eugie, where they turned eastbound.

Shortly after turning, the driver in front slowed down and two shooters reached out of that vehicle and fired at the vehicle that was following them.

The vehicle that was following and two other vehicles were struck by gunfire.

A woman that was traveling north on 59th Avenue was shot. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Glendale police officials.

Two nearby businesses were also damaged by bullets.

The suspects have not been caught. They are said to have been in a silver four-door sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Glendale Police Department.
