The Glendale Police Department investigated a shooting that took place early Sunday morning.

Police responded to the area near 59th and Missouri Avenues after hearing gunshots.

They say they arrived on scene around 1:30 a.m. and found a male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police believe two men confronted the victim and his daughter at his home and began an argument. According to police, both parties fired shots at each other.

The two men then left in a red truck that was struck multiple times. Neither of the men were injured and the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were able to stop the truck as they were leaving the area.

The incident was investigated by patrol and detectives. No arrests have been made and there are no outstanding suspects.
