Glendale police said the victim in a shooting Sunday afternoon has died from his injuries.
Officers responded around 5 p.m. to near 65th Avenue and W. Mountain View. Sgt. David Vidaure said officers arrived to find one shooting victim in the front yard of a home.
Police said the victim, later identified as a 16-year-old boy, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and he later died.
Investigators had received only general information about the suspect, but said it was another teen boy that was last seen running east from the scene and may have gotten into a vehicle.
The identity of the victim was not released because of his age.
