Glendale police investigating 2 armed robberies believed to be related

The Glendale Police Department is investigating two armed robberies that happened on Friday evening.

Police said one of the robberies happened at a check cashing store and the other happened at a McDonald's, and both businesses are located near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road.

The robbers didn't get away with any money or items from the McDonald's, but a customer was robbed at the cash checking store.

According to investigators, the suspects in both robbers have similar descriptions, which have not been released to the public.

Police said the two suspects ran away from each of the robberies.
