Fire crews are currently battling two brush fires along Interstate 10 in the Tonopah area.

Officials say they have stopped forward progress on the Camelback Fire that is about 90 acres and 50% contained, and the Burnt Well Fire that is about 68 acres.

There were two secondary structures destroyed in the fires.

The Camelback Fire, burning along I-10 near 411th Avenue, was threatening nearby homes, according to Arizona State Forestry officials.

It is unclear what sparked the fires.
