Officials are investigating after a church caught on fire in Buckeye.
Buckeye fire said the abandoned church is located near 4th Street and MC 85.
Fire officials were able to go into the church to extinguish the flames, but there were safety concerns as the church has a basement. The flames were extinguished in about 30 minutes.
Officials said the church has been abandoned for about two years and there is no evidence to suggest anyone was inside the building.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
