A QuikTrip in Buckeye may be handing over money to repair vehicles after accidentally switching diesel and gasoline.
A customer reportedly pumped gas at the station near Miller Road and Pima Street on Thursday morning, but their car wouldn't run out of the parking lot.
The store discovered that diesel had been put into the regular unleaded gasoline tanks at the station. The pumps were shut down, the tanks were immediately cleaned and replaced with proper fuel.
QT is not sure how many customers were affected by the mix-up but a company spokesman says QT plans to pay for any necessary car repairs, rental cars, gas reimbursement and a new tank of gas.
