Authorities say a man is dead after a shooting in Avondale late Saturday night.
Around 11:15 p.m., officers responded to an apartment complex near Buckeye and Dysart roads after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived they found a man suffering a gunshot wound, officials said. The man was unresponsive and died at the scene.
A police spokesman says the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
There are no outstanding suspects at this time, authorities said. Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting, but no additional information was immediately released.
The man's name is being withheld until family is notified.
