Arizona State University students gave a dining hall worker a surprise of a lifetime on Thursday.
Students from Barrett, the Honors College presented a check to their beloved campus friend for more than $2,000 to fund a once-in-a-lifetime trip to see the Northern Lights.
As seen in their video posted to YouTube, dozens of students surrounded Vicke Davis working in the dining hall--one with a megaphone in hand.
The money was raised with the help of more than 100 of her fans and a GoFundMe campaign to help send her on the dream trip. The best part is that she never saw it coming.
"I want the news of this happening to be spread because I want others to continue to give back. I want them to see that things like this are possible and there are those out there worthy of being recognized," Community Assistant Quintin Woods said in a message to ABC15.
