A package-stealing punk targeting a Tempe apartment complex was caught on camera and the victim hopes you know who he is.

The crime happened in the middle day on September 12 around 3:00 p.m. at the Camden Sotelo apartments near the Loop 202 Red Mountain and Scottsdale Road.

The victim's security camera caught a series of photos, showing a man grabbing the package and stuffing it into a backpack.

Inside the special delivery was a high-tech watch valued at $600.

"Since I live here, it's scary," Britnay Marquez, an apartment complex resident, said. "I don't want anyone stealing my stuff. We get packages delivered all the time."

The package-stealing perp never showed his face to the camera, but he's about 200 pounds and was wearing a baseball cap.

According to Marquez, there's a policy at the complex which requires packages to be sent straight to tenants' doors.

The victim thinks the suspect may live in the complex.

Apartment management is aware of the theft. Tempe police are also investigating. If you know anything, call the Tempe Police Department.
