A suspicious package was left outside of a building on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe, police confirmed to ABC15.

On Friday morning, the Lattie F. Coor Hall was evacuated after a suspicious package was found in the area.

Other buildings were also evacuated, according to ASU police.

Air15 video showed several police and fire vehicles, a police K-9 and caution tape surrounding a campus building.

Shortly before 1 p.m., officers were seen with a taped cardboard box and began clearing the scene.

At this time, there is no word on what was in the box. ASU Police say the package was 'harmless' and the buildings have been reopened.

Stay with ABC15 for updates.
