A Feb. 8 trial date has been set for a man charged with killing one person and wounding five others in Mesaduring a rampage that included multiple shootings, a carjacking and a home invasion.
Ryan Elliott Giroux has previously pleaded not guilty to murder, aggravated assault and other charges in the March 18 shootings.
The rampage began at a motel where three people were shot.

Another person was shot at a nearby restaurant. Two more were then shot at two apartment complexes.
Police say Giroux was arrested after he barricaded himself into an apartment.
