Teens trespassed at Mesa airport, threw rocks

Two teenage boys are expected to be handed aggravated assault and airport trespassing charges after an incident in Mesa Sunday morning.

According to Mesa Police, the teenagers were on airport property for a short time and threw rocks at responding Mesa Fire and Medical crew members.

They were reportedly off to the side of the main runways, near the property's fire station.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police were called to the scene and took the teens into custody. They aren't sure how the teens got onto the property.
