Authorities are looking for two teenagers in connection with an armed robbery earlier this year.

According to Sgt. Jamie Rothschild with Silent Witness, a 58-year-old man was walking his dog in a neighborhood near W. Guadalupe and Arizona Avenue around 9 a.mn. on February 24.

Police said two teens, a boy and girl both between 14 and 17 years old, approached the man from behind. The girl asked the man for a lighter.

When he reached into his pocket to get his lighter, the girl lifted her shirt to reveal the handle of a black handgun. She demanded the man's wallet, which police said he handed over. Cash was removed from the wallet and the pair rode off on BMX bicycles.

The girl is described as between 5' 2" and 5' 4" tall, with long hair dyed orange. She was wearing dark blue eye shadow, a faded yellow t-shirt, black leggings and sandals at the time of the robbery.

The boy is described as between 5 feet and 5' 2" tall, bald and clean-shaven. He was wearing a white t-shirt, sagging black jeans, red underwear and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
