Arizona Senators John McCain, Jeff Flake and Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan will meet with Valley veterans Monday at a field hearing in Gilbert.
The hearing will focus on the VA Choice Card, quality of care and wait times. The panel will consist of a whistleblower and key VA staff members.
The hearing comes after a new medical center director was named for the VA in Phoenix. Deborah Amdur is expected to start in Phoenix in early 2016. She comes to the Valley from Vermont where she's also serves as a medical center director.
Monday's field hearing will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Gilbert Town Hall.
