The third person wanted in a Jan. 2 shooting in the area of Pecos and Cooper roads has been arrested, according to the Chandler Police Department.

Police said Michelle Vasquez was arrested Sunday night by the U.S. Marshal's Office.

Investigators said Vasquez and her accomplices, Christopher Aguilar and Ignacio Montano, forced their way into a home, pistol-whipped a man and woman and demanded money.

The victim told police that the assailants fired gunshots out of a vehicle as they were driving away from the scene because the victim was taking down their license plate number.

Aguilar and Montano were arrested shortly after the shooting, but Vasquez was on the lam for over two weeks, police said.
