Heads up: More traffic cameras coming to Chandler next month

Four more traffic cameras will become operational starting next week.

According to a release from the Chandler Police Department, three photo enforcement cameras along Arizona Avenue, at Warner, Ray and Ocotillo, will be re-activated. The cameras at all three intersections will monitor for southbound traffic. A fourth camera at Dobson Road and Ray Road will monitor southbound and westbound traffic at that intersection.

The four cameras will be turned on starting Tuesday, November 1, police said. Beginning then, violators caught at those intersections will be issued a warning. Warnings will be issued through November 30, with the first citations for speed and red light violations being issued December 1. 

There are a total of 11 Chandler intersections monitored by photo enforcement cameras. They are:  

Eastbound Ray Road at Alma School Road

Westbound & Southbound Warner Road at Alma School Road

Westbound Chandler Boulevard at Kyrene Road

Southbound & Eastbound McClintock Drive at Ray Road

Westbound Chandler Boulevard at Dobson Road

Westbound & Southbound Alma School Road at Queen Creek Road

Eastbound Ray Road at Rural Road

Southbound Arizona Avenue at Warner Road

Southbound Arizona Avenue at Ray Road

Southbound Arizona Avenue at Ocotillo Road

Southbound & Westbound Dobson Road at Ray Road
