Mesa Fire officials say a 21-year-old man suffered serious injuries when large sections of rebar fell on him early Monday morning.
Six-foot sections reportedly fell on the man's back and legs. He had to be flown to a level-one trauma facility for treatment.
The incident occurred near Meridian and Guadalupe roads.
