Police are searching for the suspect, or suspects, accused of shooting a paintball gun at a group of people in Phoenix.

Police were called to a haunted house on Monday night near 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

Witnesses told officials that a car drove by the crowd and shot four people with the paintball gun.

Kristopher White said his young son was one of the people hit by a paintball.

"He got a little more than he bargained for," White said. "When your targeted audience is two- to 10-years-old...it's disappointing that anyone would think to do that.

It's believed that suspect was driving a silver Dodge Durango with a roof rack. It was last seen driving east on Sweetwater Avenue.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect's whereabouts is urged to call Phoenix police.
