PHOENIX — The intersection of 63rd Avenue and Thomas Road was closed for several hours after a pedestrian was fatally struck in the area.
Phoenix police could not provide many details regarding the cause of the crash as the investigation is ongoing.
A male pedestrian was struck and killed early Sunday morning, police say. The driver, who has not been identified by police, stayed on scene. Impairment does not appear to be a factor.
