Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian Saturday evening.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. near 27th Avenue and Van Buren Road.
Phoenix police tell ABC15 a female in her 60s was crossing mid-block when she was struck by a yellow pickup truck that left the scene.
Sgt. Trent Crump says he has not yet been given the name of the victim and that she may have been a transient. It could take some time to release her name.
