White powder found on a man arrested Tuesday morning prompted an investigation in Phoenix.
The call for a hazardous situation happened around 10:45 a.m. on Central Avenue, just north of Elwood Street near a Phoenix Police Department substation.
The man was uncooperative and initially taken into custody on a golf course in a maintenance shed, according to police.
Phoenix fire crews investigated the scene as a hazardous situation.
"As suspected, the substance was not harmful," police said. "Turned out to be cornstarch."
