An Ahwatukee neighborhood is full of toads.
Toads often come out during the monsoon season. They are attracted to the water to lay their eggs.
One family found over 100 in their backyard pool after the most recent monsoon.
"When you walked out you could see there were multiple little beings swimming," said Julie Hamilton. "It was a little disconcerting not knowing if they were poisonous or not."
We took Hamilton's photos to an expert who believes they fall under the Spotted Toad species which is very common and very quick to reproduce.
