PHOENIX — Authorities say a man has serious injuries following a shooting in Phoenix Sunday night.
Police say they responded to a shooting call around 8:20 p.m. near 40th and Van Buren streets.
When they arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was then transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say preliminary information shows that he had been in an argument with a person known to him when the shooting occurred.
The suspect is currently outstanding.
