Police have 3 in custody after Phoenix home invasion

The Phoenix Police Department have several in custody after a home invasion overnight.

Police were called to a home near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road around 10 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, a neighbor saw suspicious activity and called police.

After arriving on scene, officers noticed a forced entry into a nearby home.

Officers say they discovered three people inside the home, all who tried to take off into the back alley.

Police were able to arrest one immediately, and caught the remaining two suspects in a car near Southern and 27th Avenues.

There are no injuries to report.
