The Phoenix Police Department is looking for a man believed to be responsible for the shooting of a 33-year-old woman last night near 19th Ave and Butler.
The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday.
Police say 26-year-old Johnny Stamps shot the victim several times at an apartment in the area. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Details on what led up to the shooting have not been released.
Stamps is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who has any information is urged to call the Phoenix Police Department.
