Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers say an overnight rollover collision on the Loop 101 in North Phoenix led to a man falling from a tree and a DUI arrest.
The incident happened around midnight on Tuesday in the area of Loop 101 and 56th Street in Phoenix.
Officials say they responded to a rollover but when they got to the scene, there was nobody in the rolled truck.
While troopers were out investigating, a man fell out of a nearby tree. The driver of the rolled vehicle apparently climbed the tree to hide from troopers.
The suspect fought with troopers as they were attempting to take him into custody. The driver was eventually arrested and faces charges of aggravated assault on troopers and DUI.
The troopers were said to be unharmed after the assault.
