A Phoenix mother was arrested after she was found passed out in her apartment while her 5-year-old daughter was wandering around the complex.

Court documents show that on Feb. 15, 5-year-old and a 15-month-old girls were left unsupervised in an apartment in North Phoenix near the Interstate 17 and Cactus Road.

The 5-year-old was wandering around the complex and asked a neighbor if "she had any babies for her to play with."

She also told the neighbor that, "mom was home but is not waking up." Concerned for the mother, the neighbor called 911.

Firefighters got to the apartment and found 26-year-old Lisa Nichole Posey in the apartment. It took them two minutes to wake her up. They also found two glass marijuana pipes and marijuana in the home.

They saw the 15-month-old girl in the home with the front door open and a bathtub half full of water.

Police estimate that the children were unsupervised for nearly five hours.

Posey is facing drug and endangerment charges.
