Lasers on Interstate 17?
It might sound unusual but the Department of Public Safety said Troopers attempted to locate the person who reportedly shined a laser at vehicles on Thursday morning.
DPS said at about 5:15 a.m. on Thursday, they received a report of someone in a vehicle shining a green laser at a vehicle near Interstate 17 and Northern Avenue.
The person who called DPS said the laser shined through their window.
A spokesperson for DPS said this was the first time he heard of Troopers responding to a laser call on a Valley freeway.
