Five vehicles collided on Interstate 17 and Happy Valley Road on Wednesday evening, officials said.
The Department of Public Safety said the collision had blocked northbound I-17 and caused some delays.

The Phoenix Fire Department told ABC15 that approximately 16 individuals were evaluated by crew members. Some refused the need for any medical evaluation, fire officials said. No one was transported to hospitals during the incident.
Phoenix police is investigating the incident.
