Armed juveniles rob Filiberto's restaurant

Two armed teens, a male and female allegedly robbed the Filiberto's restaurant at 17th Avenue and Glendale on Friday.

According to court documents, the high school students pointed a handgun at two customers and the cashier and demanded money. The female collected over $450 in a grocery bag.   

As they ran to a nearby apartment complex one of the restaurant customers, who recognized them, followed them to their apartment and called police.

The two were arrested by Phoenix Police and now face charges in juvenile court of armed robbery and kidnapping.
