A man accused of killing his family and burning his house in Phoenix Tuesday had prior brushes with the law, records show.

ABC15 has learned Alex Buckner, 26, had been arrested twice in Oklahoma before moving to Phoenix with his family approximately three years ago.

The first arrest occurred in April of 2012, according to Owasso Municipal Court records. Bucker was arrested again for petty larceny and resisting arrest in November of 2012. In both cases, court records show that he paid a fine.

Phoenix police said Buckner shot and killed his parents and two sisters before lighting the family's house on fire. He was subsequently shot and killed in a confrontation with officers.

GoFundMe account has been established for memorial costs.
