PHOENIX — Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel is back home after being hospitalized for a brain injury she suffered from a fall in November.
Officials said Adel is now home from the hospital and will continue to focus on her recovery.
After her fall, Adel had emergency surgery for the removal of a blood clot from bleeding on the brain.
Adel signed her oath of office and looks forward to serving as County Attorney, said Jessica Liewer, a spokesperson with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office.
"She is so appreciative of everyone’s well wishes and looks forward to seeing all of you in the new year," the statement read.
